Tot Shabbat is the first introduction to Congregation Agudas Achim for most children. This short Saturday morning service is geared toward children from infancy to kindergarten. Led by our Education Director, it includes Jewish stories, songs, and music, and ends with an oneg of challah, juice, and fruit. Tot Shabbat is also a great opportunity for parents with young children to socialize.
Additionally, the Hebrew School offers our youngest students (ages 3 to 5) a chance to meet one Sunday per month as part of Kitah Gan. The curriculum for this age group focuses on Jewish life. Students learn about their Jewish names, as well as the events of the Jewish year, food, holidays, Jewish values, and Torah stories through hands-on activities, including music, games, movement, art, cooking, and more.
