Shavuot 2021: Maamad Sinai, Reconstructing Pathways to Justice and Peace
Sunday, May 16, 7pm through Monday, May 17, at 10am
The second annual Reconstructionist movement-wide tikun leil Shavuot. Celebrate Shavuot with revelations of song & study, meditation, movement, & more
At the culmination of seven weeks of counting, on Sunday evening, May 16, let us gather again, honoring our calling to evolve Jewish civilization for the common good of all who inhabit the earth. Join us in honoring Chag HaShavuot with 15-hours of communing through story, study, shared silence, and song.
This year’s gathering will build on the strengths of lasts year’s event which convened nearly 1000 participants and more than 50 different presenters from around the world. We will again use a single Zoom link for all the sessions, offering an array of topics for study and types of engagement led by a variety of teachers and leaders from across the movement. We will also conclude with a live Shavuot morning service.
