Hello everybody! Matthew Packard has worked with many staff members and students for his Bar Mitzvah Project to create a new Gay/Straight Alliance (GSA) Club called אַחְדוּת or Achdut, which means Unity. The club was created to make a safe space for LGBTQ+ members of the Agudas Achim community to share experiences and thoughts. We will also talk about how the LGBTQ+ community ties into Judaism. The first meeting, open to the entire congregation, will be held on Thursday, April 1st at 7pm via Zoom. Link to follow.
