Rabbi Elyse recently completed a term on the ad hoc CEO interview community for the Jewish Family Services of Rhode Island and helped that organization to name it's new CEO - Erin Minor.  Rabbi Elyse remains on the board of JFSRI and will begin serving on its Strategic Planning Committee this summer.

In May, Rabbi Elyse presented the Metcalf Award for Diversity in Media, sponsored by Rhode Island for Community and Justice to Nancy Kirsh and Richard Asinoff of the Jewish Voice and Herald.  Ms. Kirsh was recognized for her article: "Faith:Uniter or Divider" which featured Rabbi Elyse.

In June, Rabbi Elyse serves as visiting faculty for staff training week at Camp JRF and will return as faculty to camp in August.  In addition, she will also be participating in the third of four retreats for the Institute for Jewish Spirituality this July.
