We have a number of programs looking for chair people for next year. We know from experience that many hands make little work (really, it’s true!) Please consider helping out with one event next year - you will make life easier on the rest of the community and enjoy yourself at the same time! Programs looking for chairs or participants include: Yom Kippur Break Fast, Community Passover Seder, Chanukah Party, the Fall Fair, Shabbat B’Yachad Dinners, and Shabbat Across America. Most of these programs are one-time events and require a short-term commitment. Please contact Rabbi Elyse or Deborah Mandell for details or if interested.
The synagogue earns more money if you shop online using Goodsearch. So click the link above and try it out! It costs you no more than you would have spent before at many big online retailers.

VISION STATEMENT
Final draft presented to the Board on April 11, 2005
Congregation Agudas Achim is a voice for Judaism in the southeastern Massachusetts and northern Rhode Island Reconstructionist movement. While creating a community for members of all ages, our gateway to Jewish living will offer a comfortable, warm, and inviting experience for all. By integrating religious, social, and educational programs, our goal is to enable every member to become a learner and every learner a teacher. In this way, we will assure that future generations will recognize the significance of our ancestral heritage and traditions, while embracing their role in shaping our community.

It's easy, can be done from your browser, and it only takes minutes a month. No high-tech skills required! The only thing you need is a PC (no Macs, sorry) with Internet Explorer.
